Overview
The Spacer block adds empty vertical space between two blocks, for example between a Heading and a Text block, as in the screenshot. Use it when you want more (or less) room at one spot than the section’s gap setting gives. You can set a different height for desktop and mobile. Add it to any section or block that accepts theme blocks, such as Rich text, Custom section, Group, Image card or the Image banner Content block.
How to use
- Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize.
- Select a section or block that accepts blocks, for example Rich text.
- Click Add block → Spacer.
- Drag the Spacer between the two blocks you want to separate.
- Set the Height for desktop and the Height mobile for phones.
- Click Save.

Settings
| Settings | Description |
|---|---|
| Height | Set the height of the empty space on desktop (0–100 px). |
| Height Mobile | Set the height of the empty space on mobile (0–100 px). Use a smaller value than desktop, so content stays close together on phones. |
Tip: The Spacer adds to the parent’s Vertical gap. For even spacing across a whole section, adjust the section’s or Group’s gap. Use a Spacer only where one spot needs extra room.
