Product Siblings
Faith supports Product Siblings, allowing you to connect multiple Shopify products into a single product family using Shopify Metafields.
Instead of creating flavors, colors, or styles as variants, each option can be created as an individual Shopify product with its own:
- Product URL
- Image gallery
- Price
- Description
- Inventory
- SKU
- SEO settings
- Reviews
Faith automatically groups these products together and displays them as image or color swatches on the product page.
Metafield Controlled
The entire sibling relationship is managed through Shopify Metafields, making it easy to maintain directly from the Shopify Admin without modifying theme code.
You can create a sibling group (for example, Creatine) and assign each related product to that group. Faith reads the metafield values and automatically:
- Connects all sibling products
- Generates product swatches
- Highlights the currently selected product
- Switches to the selected sibling product when a swatch is clicked
- Displays the correct images, pricing, inventory, and product information for the selected product
Product Image Swatches
Faith can display each sibling product using its featured image (or a dedicated swatch image), providing customers with a visual way to switch between flavors, colors, or styles.
